Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Internal Application ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), including browsing our directory of SaaS products or submitting a request for a custom-built application, you ("User", "Client", "you", or "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately discontinue access to and use of the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Internal Application. They apply to all visitors browsing our directory, to founders and entrepreneurs who submit a custom application request, and to anyone who otherwise accesses the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of any updates or changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes. If you are accessing the Platform, or submitting a custom application request, on behalf of a company, organisation, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, in which case "you" shall refer to that entity.

Description of Services & Eligibility

Internal Application provides two related services: Directory: a curated, publicly accessible directory of SaaS products built by our team, intended to help early-stage founders and entrepreneurs discover tools relevant to their business. Browsing the Directory is free of charge and does not require you to create an account. Custom-Built Applications: for founders and entrepreneurs who cannot find a suitable off-the-shelf solution, we offer a bespoke development service through which you can request an internal application tailored to your business ("Custom Build"). Submitting a Custom Build request does not require an account and is not itself a binding commitment on either side — a project only proceeds once we have issued a written scope and fee, and you have completed payment in accordance with Section 04. To use the Platform, you must be at least 18 years of age and capable of forming a legally binding contract. By browsing the Directory or submitting a Custom Build request, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to decline, pause, or discontinue any Custom Build request or engagement, including where we believe the requested work falls outside our capabilities, capacity, or the scope we are willing to undertake.
03

Permitted Use & Restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely to browse the Directory and, where applicable, to request and receive a Custom Build in accordance with these Terms. You expressly agree NOT to: - Scrape, harvest, or collect data or listings from the Directory using automated means beyond what the Platform's own features permit - Misrepresent your identity, business, or authority when submitting a Custom Build request - Use the Platform, or any information obtained through it, to build a directly competing directory or custom-development service - Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Platform or any Custom Build prior to its delivery to you - Introduce malware, viruses, ransomware, or any other harmful code into the Platform - Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features or access controls - Use the Platform in any manner that could damage, overburden, or impair its functionality - Submit fraudulent, abusive, or bad-faith Custom Build requests, including requests with no genuine intention to proceed or pay Violation of these restrictions may result in the refusal or termination of service and may expose you to civil or criminal liability.
04

Custom Application Requests, Scope & Project Fees

Requesting a Custom Build: You may submit a request describing your business and the internal application you require through our request form. No account or payment is needed to submit a request. Proposal & Acceptance: If we are able to take on your project, we will provide a proposed scope of work and a one-time project fee based on the complexity of the application requested. A project is only confirmed once you accept the proposed scope and complete payment in full — no development work begins before this point. Payment: Custom Build project fees are one-time, fixed fees payable in full, upfront, before development work commences. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments (dodopayments.com), our third-party payment processor and Merchant of Record. By completing payment, you authorise Dodo Payments to charge your payment method for the agreed project fee. Scope Changes: If you request changes beyond the agreed scope after a project has started, we will provide a change order describing the additional work and fee. Additional fees apply only once you approve the change order in writing (including by email). Delivery: Estimated delivery timelines will be communicated to you as part of your project proposal. Timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed, as they may depend on factors including the complexity of the application, the speed of your feedback, and third-party dependencies. For information regarding cancellations and refunds relating to Custom Build fees, please refer to our Refund Policy at internalapplication.com/legal/refund.

Intellectual Property

Directory & Platform: All content, technology, features, and functionality of the Platform — including the Directory, its listings, curation, software, design, and underlying code — are the exclusive property of Internal Application and our licensors, protected under applicable copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any of these rights to you. Custom-Built Applications: Upon our receipt of full payment for a Custom Build, ownership of the application code developed specifically and exclusively for you under that engagement transfers to you, except that: - Any pre-existing tools, frameworks, libraries, templates, or reusable components that we owned or developed independently of your engagement remain our property; you are granted a perpetual, royalty-free licence to continue using them as incorporated into your delivered application - We retain the right to reuse general knowledge, techniques, and non-confidential learnings gained during your engagement for other clients, provided we do not disclose your confidential business information or proprietary business logic Until full payment is received, all work product relating to a Custom Build remains our property, and no licence to use it is granted to you. User-Provided Content: If you submit content, feedback, or suggestions to the Platform, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, and incorporate it for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this licence. You agree not to use any Internal Application trademarks, logos, or brand assets without our prior written consent.

We will use this information solely to evaluate, scope, and deliver your project, and will not disclose it to third parties outside our team without your consent, except as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy. If a project does not proceed, we will retain your request information only for the period described in our Privacy Policy and will not use your confidential business information for any purpose other than responding to your enquiry or a follow-up from you.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM AND ANY CUSTOM BUILD ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INTERNAL APPLICATION EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant or represent that: - The Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free - Any product listed in the Directory will be accurate, reliable, or suitable for your business - A Custom Build will result in any particular business outcome, beyond meeting the scope agreed in your project proposal - Any errors or defects in the Platform or a delivered Custom Build will be corrected free of charge outside of any warranty period we expressly offer in your project proposal Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Internal Application, its directors, employees, partners, agents, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or a Custom Build, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for the Custom Build engagement giving rise to the claim, or $100 if no payment was made. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
09

Termination

Either party may end an engagement formed by these Terms, subject to the terms below. Termination by You: You may withdraw a Custom Build request at any time before you complete payment, at no cost. Once a project has been paid for, cancellation is governed by our Refund Policy. Termination by Internal Application: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, or decline or end a Custom Build engagement, with or without notice, if: - You breach any provision of these Terms - We are required to do so by law or a regulatory authority - We reasonably suspect fraudulent, abusive, or bad-faith use of the Platform or the Custom Build request process - Continued delivery of a Custom Build becomes commercially impractical for reasons outside our control Effect of Termination: Upon termination, any licence granted to you under Section 03 immediately ceases. If a Custom Build engagement ends before delivery, ownership of any work product remains with us unless we have already received full payment, in which case Section 05 applies. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — shall survive termination.
10

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Internal Application and our officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and successors from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: - Your use of or access to the Platform - Your violation of any provision of these Terms - Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights - Any business information, content, or materials you submit to us in connection with a Custom Build request - Your use of, or reliance on, any product discovered through the Directory - Any claims made by your own customers or third parties arising from your use of a delivered Custom Build This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of these Terms and your use of the Platform.
11

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Disputes shall be resolved in good faith through negotiation in the first instance. Dispute Resolution Process: Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at hello@internalapplication.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to address your concern within 30 days. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to submit to binding arbitration or the jurisdiction of a mutually agreed competent court, depending on the nature of the claim and your jurisdiction. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened misappropriation or infringement of intellectual property rights. Class Action Waiver: To the extent permitted by law, you waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Internal Application. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
12

Changes to Terms

When we make material changes, we will: - Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page - Notify any Client with an active Custom Build engagement by email, and/or - Display a prominent notice on the Platform Changes will take effect immediately upon posting unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
